So like a month ago a friend of mine posted this quote on Facebook, (without the source mind you) and I commented that it was one of the stupidest things I have ever heard.

Anyways she is STILL mad that I said that, but honestly, I can’t be the only person who finds this ignorant right? Especially the second point?

I’d say so. I mean, if a women were legitimately a feminist, why would they consider choosing a partner who disrespected their beliefs, or who disrespected them? My mom’s not a feminist and neither is my father, but she doesn’t let him walk all over her. They balance each other out nicely; there’s not really a patriarchy in my family.
